What's included
5 live meetings
15 in-class hours per weekHomework
2-4 hours per week. Each day learners should spend up to 1 hour working on independent asynchronous work. “Homework” is optional but recommended to take full advantage of this learning experience and to maintain homeschool records for your learner.Assessment
We offer learners an opportunity to have a full learning assessment upon enrollment. Assessment materials will be provided to families to administer then reviewed by our educators to assist in developing an individualized learning plan.Grading
Instead of traditional letter or number grades, students are evaluated based on their progress and mastery of specific skills and concepts. This allows children to focus on their own personal growth and development, rather than being compared to their peers. Quantum educators carefully observe and document each child’s progress, providing them with ongoing feedback and guidance for continued improvement. This grading system encourages a growth mindset, where children are motivated to constantly strive for personal excellence and deepen their understanding of various subjects. Through this approach, Quantum Montessori aims to create lifelong learners who are confident and self-motivated.Class Experience

Educators will meet learners where they are to ensure their learning needs are met, whether you are starting a new class or joining one that is already underway. General Information In order to provide learners with a true understanding of what it's like to learn with us, and also to allow home educators to determine if we're the right fit for their family, we ask families to commit to one full quarter or 10 weeks of learning. We will continue to update and add new class dates and times as needed to accommodate year-round enrollment. Montessori content repeats over the course of the school year building when the learner is ready. We do this by offering varied follow-up lessons to help learners master the topics before moving forward to the next. A supportive classroom environment such as this, helps learners enrolling mid-class adjust to the classroom routine and quickly adjust. Through individualized instruction and collaborative activities, we strive to create a smooth transition for new students to feel comfortable and thrive in our class. 🤔 FAQ Q: What is the overall philosophy of a Montessori education for 4th, 5th & 6th grades? Ms. Marquis, Upper Elementary Guide
Hello! My name is Ms. Marquis and I am an Upper Elementary educator at Quantum Montessori. I have always been passionate about education and helping young minds grow and flourish. With over 10 years of experience in the field, I am proud to say that I hold AMI certifications from the Association Montessori Internationale.
My journey in Montessori education began when I was introduced to the philosophy during my undergraduate studies. From that moment on, I was captivated by the child-centered approach and the emphasis on developing independent, critical thinkers. I quickly decided to pursue my AMI training and have never looked back.
As an AMI certified educator, I am committed to staying true to the Montessori principles and always strive to create an enriching and engaging learning environment for my students. I strongly believe in the power of hands-on learning and creating personalized learning experiences for each child.
My goal as an Upper Elementary educator is to guide and support my students in their academic, social, emotional, and physical growth. I encourage them to be curious, to question, and to take ownership of their learning. My students not only excel academically, but also develop a strong sense of self, a love for learning, and a deep respect for their peers and the world around them.
I am incredibly grateful to be a part of the Quantum Montessori community and to have the opportunity to work with such dedicated and passionate educators. I am consistently inspired by my students and their unique perspectives, and I look forward to fostering a love for learning that will last a lifetime.

Thank you for taking the time to explore our profile. We eagerly anticipate you joining us on your learning journey. I founded the Quantum Montessori Institute with a team of outstanding educators and leaders. I wanted parents to feel empowered to educate their children from home confidently, while also working, running a business, living an RV lifestyle, traveling the world, or simply seeking a hybrid learning environment. My passion for Montessori has led me to work with a diverse group of youth. My aim is to ensure an equitable experience, one that equally prioritizes the wellbeing of the child, parents, and educators.
