Class Experience

Do you have a special stuffed animal? If so, please bring it to enjoy a read-aloud about Trixie, her dad, and Trixie’s special Knuffle Bunny. Before reading, we will learn about the reading comprehension skill of sequencing (putting main events in the correct order) and during reading, we will look for clues to find the main events. After reading, we will practice sequencing the events by putting pictures in order and matching the descriptions of the events with the pictures. Students will be able to have their own copy of the pictures and descriptions to practice on their own.
