Montessori Concrete Math- The Golden Beads

This 40 minutes Montessori Math Concrete lessons goal is to provide your child with a strong foundation in mathematics through a combination of hands-on, multi-sensory and interactive concrete approach. This age-appropriate program is tailored to children ages 5 to 9 years old, who is passionate with numbers and interested to further their math skills. In this class, student will explore different variations, extension activities, basic operations and games!

The primary objective of the Golden Beads lesson is to provide children with a concrete understanding of the decimal system and place value, allowing them to grasp the concepts of units, tens, hundreds, and thousands through hands-on manipulation of physical materials. By engaging with the golden beads, children will develop the ability to recognize and differentiate quantities, understand the structure of numbers, and practice basic mathematical operations. This lesson fosters a deep, tactile learning experience that lays the foundation for more abstract mathematical thinking in later years.
