Class Experience
***IMPORTANT: THIS IS A FLEXIBLE CLASS, MEANING THERE WILL BE NO LIVE MEETINGS SCHEDULED FOR THIS CLASS!*** Make sure your child understands counting numbers 1-10 before taking this course. In this course, we will be going over the quantity and numbers that are associated with the Montessori Golden Bead work, along with Addition and Multiplication with the Golden Beads as well. **We will be using NearPod for our lessons each week, and posting videos on the classroom page is a requirement...
-Students will learn and practice with the quantities and numbers associated with the Golden Beads. -Students will also be able to solve addition and static multiplication problems using the Golden Beads.
There will be interactive questions during the lesson that will need to be submitted on the classroom page (or emailed to the teacher) before the end of each week (Fridays at 7pm EST).
2 files available upon enrollment-You will need two work rugs or two work tables for your work. -Print and cut out templates of Golden Beads before the first week begins.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 2 - 4 hours per week outside of class.
There will be an attachment for a template of Golden Beads to print and cut out that we will be using for this class.
