With over four decades ofexperience as a game master and player since 1978, I bring a wealth of expertise to my "Supernatural Middle School Adventures: Pinebox, TX," class. Having enjoyed playing numerous game titles, I have a deep understanding of the intriacies and dynamics of tabletop roleplaying games. As an experienced Dungeons and Dragons teacher on Outschool, I am excited to introduce Savage Worlds to Learners, as it offers a unique storytelling experience that transcends traditional fantasy settings. I am passionate about roleplaying games because of they have had a profound impact on my life. As a child with ADHD and Dyslexia, gaming provided me and outlet for my energy and imagination in a constructive manner. It sparked my love for history, literature, and real-life adventurers. Recognizing the transformative power of gaming, I have completed the "Games2Grow" therapeutic game mastering seminar and the Outschool "The G Word" program. These experiences have equipped me with a deeper understanding of the needs of my Learners and the Potential for their personal and intellectual growth. In my class, I am dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive environment where Learners can explore their horizons through the exciting world of Savage Worlds.

I understand the importance of age-appropriate content. While I will discuss fictional combat and magic, rest assured that the content will be tailored to be suitable for children. I prioritize creating a safe and inclusive environment where children can explore the exciting aspects of the game without exposure to inappropriate themes. Additionally I will address the topic of character death, emphasizing the positive possibilities it presents, such as character growth, resilience, and storytelling opportunities. Our goal is to provide a balanced and enriching experience that respects both the imaginative nature of the game and well-being of our young learners. This class will use a platform based digital dice roller called "Rolling Dice with Friends". The website ask for no information from the Learner and they will enter a password protected gameroom where they are only identified to each other by the names they choose (Character Names) there is no "Chat" Aspect of this room that could allow for accidental information exchange. The room only allows for the rolling of dice and allows all player to see the dice results that someone else rolls. It is a good tool as dice rolling and consequences of those rolls are the foundation for games and learning. I encourage you to visit this site located at https://rolldicewithfriends.com/
