Learners will explore personal finance topics like budgeting, saving, credit, investing, and goal setting. They’ll also learn financial planning skills that can be applied in real life, building a foundation for financial independence.

The club will cover a variety of topics including financial goal setting, budgeting, understanding credit, saving strategies, basics of investing, and preparing for major life events like college or career planning.

How is your class structured?
The class is structured as a virtual club meeting, with weekly interactive sessions. Each meeting includes a short lesson, followed by group discussions, activities, and time for questions. There will also be projects that learners will complete and present to the group.

I will use a combination of live discussions, slides, interactive games, and videos to make the sessions engaging. Learners will participate in discussions, activities, and real-life scenarios to help them understand financial concepts in a practical way.

My teaching style is interactive and supportive, focusing on engaging learners through discussions and activities. I encourage participation and independent thinking, creating a comfortable space where everyone can contribute.

How much will learners get to interact with you?
Learners will have plenty of opportunities to interact through live discussions, activities, and group projects. I will provide guidance and feedback regularly, and learners can ask questions during the sessions or through the Outschool platform.
