Join this 4 week's class to learn various American coins, the value of each coin, and the value of dollars through musical activities, games, and a craft. My style of teaching is fun and engaging and I love to allow learners to talk in turn and ask questions. I will not mute a learner unless the background noise gets too distracting for other learners. Scope & Sequence: First Day: Learn to recognize pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters, and how much their worth. We will use musical activities and games. Second Day: Review the first day's objectives to ensure students are solid in their knowledge of coins, learn to recognize dollars, and the value of each. Third-Day: Review counting money and play a game of going shopping and using our money, and discuss what is important to each learner to buy Fourth Day: Make our own piggy bank out of recycled materials and discuss why it is important to save. Please have paper and a pencil handy each lesson. For the first lesson, please have one quarter, one dime, one nickel, and one penny handy.
