+What will be taught? This camp will introduce students to the Greek alphabet. They will learn the name and the sound of each letter as well as a vocabulary word for each one. We will practice writing it and pronouncing it. On the last day of camp, students will practice writing their names in Greek! +How is your class structured? Each day will include 6 letters and 6 words for a total of 24 letters. +How will you teach and what is your teaching style? I am very enthusiastic and love to encourage my students to participate. Learning a new language can be intimidating but together we can make Greek fun! + How much will learners get to interact with you and each other? Students will get to practice speaking each word/letter out loud and writing it. This is an interactive class and students are encouraged to raise their hands and ask questions. +Any prior experience or knowledge learners need? Students do not need any prior experience to attend this class.
Learning Goals
By the end of this course, students should know the 24 letters of the alphabet as well as 24 vocabulary words. This should prepare them for unit 101 of Modern Greek "Introduction to Modern Greek 101 - Γειά σου"
*Student will also be able to write their name in Greek!

Supply List
A small, 8x10 whiteboard and marker, to help the student practice their writing skills in the classroom. Many times the students will be asked to share with the class their Greek letter penmanship or spell a vocabulary word. A whiteboard will help them write big letters, easily visible to the camera. *Cost typically ranges between $8-$10 on Amazon.com

Sources
A digital deck of flashcards will be given to each student to practice and keep. This will be very helpful to students that are interested in the full modern Greek course.
