Mis Comidas Favoritas, My Favorite Foods! Beginner Spanish
A fun lesson studying the three meals of the day, vegetables, and fruits in Spanish. We will learn to answer dining questions & how to express our enjoyment of food. I provide a colorful and fun class that promotes participation & recall.

Parents can request an assessment of child's participation in class. I will be looking for consistent repeating after me and participating in dialogue. Pronunciation takes practice and therefore the more that they attend my lessons and practice at home the closer they will be to speaking like a native speaker.Class Experience
US Grade 2
Beginner Level
In this class "Mis Comidas Favoritas" I will be teaching your child how to request their favorite food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, fruits, and vegetables. We will learn to say "I like to eat" and "For breakfast I would like" etc. This class will go at the pace of the students because learning a new language takes listening and repetition. I use colorful and fun imagery to bring laughter and recall because it's easier to remember something if you are having fun. This class will be slides and dialogue. In the future, we will play memory matches and a board game if you return to the next class. But first we must establish some vocabulary. I look forward to seeing your child flourish in learning a new language.
Learning Goals
Goal 1 is teach students how to request meals of the day and shop for market fresh foods in Spanish.Goal 2 is to help students feel comfortable expressing enjoyment of their favorite or preferred dishes so they can feel comfortable having a dining experience in among cultures that speak Spanish. I chose kid friendly foods first to promote participation.

Supply List
Computer and pencil and paper for those that wish to take notes. Recording the class is not allowed. Please message me if you would like me to send an attachment email of the power point. I will gladly share. It is my hard work that I took a lot of time to create, so I ask that you please do not share my slides with others.
