Class Experience

This course is created to help young learners understand the value of money. Students will identify each coin by name and will be encouraged to tell the teacher how much it is worth. The teacher will prompt students to tell her what they can buy with the money they identify.
We will cover coins but will only count paper bills up to $10. All material will be presented on a slide as well as props used by the teacher.
My teaching style is fun but serious. I want students to remember what they learn in my classroom.
Learners are encouraged to interact with the teacher and other students. Students should listen for their name to be called or raise their hand to ask a question.
Any additional knowledge is welcome. I strongly encourage students to bring their own minions and 'play money' during this lesson.
Learning Goals

Hello everyone! My name is Ms.P. I'm so excited to offer Introduction to U.S. Government Summer Camp. In my classroom, we will learn about the 3 branches of U.S. Government and why government is so important. We will learn about Congress, the Supreme Court and the most important role, being the President of the United States (POTUS).
There will also be a class about our famous First Ladies, that will be available.
Political Science is my passion and it has opened a door of vast learning experiences.

I'm also very passionate about helping non-native speaker learn English as a second language. Introduction to beginner English for non-native speakers has always been subject area that I have mastered. I enjoy teaching new students the English language. I hold a TESOL and have been an online ESL teacher for 5yrs. I have taught thousands of classes and look forward to encouraging and ensuring that your child learns the correct pronunciation of the English language.

I hold an advanced degree in Political Science with a minor in Legal Studies. I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Former President Bill Clinton was Governor of Arkansas before being elected. I also have an degree in Liberal Arts from Arkansas State University.
As a certified TESOL instructor and a certified Substitute Teacher in the State of Arkansas,
I have taught grades K-12 in Arkansas public schools. I turned down a position at my local University to focus on online teaching.

I take online teaching seriously. My job is to ensure that your child learns from me, all while creating a fun learning environment. I want your child to become comfortable learning with me, and if they are more advanced, I will challenge them to do more. I want my students to remember me and get excited when it's time to see Ms.P!
We are going to have a ROCKING summer!! 💛🆗✔😎📚💡
