During this one time class, students will create their own versions of a savory cheese ball. These will be mini sized cheese balls that are decorated using food to resemble turkeys! Ingredients: 1 block SOFTENED cream cheese ½ Cup bacon bits ¼ cup dried chives or dried parsley ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese 1 tsp garlic powder Salt and pepper Either pretzel sticks or regular pretzels Pretzel Rods Candy Eyes Candy Corn Peanut butter or other alternative nut/nut free butter Materials: Medium sized mixing bowl Mixing Spoon Measuring cups and spoons Trigger release scoop or regular spoon for forming balls Butter Knife Platter or plate for finished turkey cheese balls Optional: apron, chef's hat, towel or paper towels for wiping hands as needed
