Are you looking for fun Maths classes? Does your learner need some extra revision, or perhaps an extra challenge?

We will develop key Maths skills, in a fun, friendly and academically challenging way.

I have a Masters and a PGCE (professional teaching qualification) from the University of Oxford and I have taught nearly 1000 students on Outschool. In this new class, learners will practise and develop their Maths skills, loosely based on the UK curriculum. Students from other countries, and students who do not have English as a first language are very welcome to join the class, and practise their language skills as they gain Maths confidence. 

 Lessons will be presented on powerpoint slides, with occasional accompanying worksheets. The lessons will be fun and interactive, with short bursts of activities to keep students engaged.

This is an ongoing class. Students can join and leave at any point. (Each lesson is a standalone lesson.)

The topic for the sessions will be:

Week 1 - (beginning 2nd Oct) - Addition
Week 2 - (beginning 9th Oct) - Subtraction
Week 3 (beginning 16th Oct) - Times tables (2, 5 and 10)
Week 4 (beginning 30th Oct) - 2D Shapes
Week 5 (beginning 6th Nov) - Addition
Week 6 (beginning 13th Nov) - Multiplication
Week 7 - Times tables (3 and 4)
Week 8 - Mental arithmetic
Week 8 - 3D shapes
Week 9 - Fractions
Week 10 - Multiplication
Week 11 - Measurements
Week 12 - Data-handling

I have a Masters and a PGCE from Oxford, and many years experience teaching in a variety of schools across the UK.
