Welcome to Yoshi's Multi Player Servers (Bedrock only, No Java) This class requires the game: MINECRAFT BEDROCK EDITION *The educational version will not work. -Please make sure you have completed the xbox.com profile and privacy setting setup before class as outlined in the Supply List Below. -This class works for MCPE (Pocket Edition), Xbox, PS4, iPad, Switch, and PC (it can work for Mac if you have the Bedrock launcher). -Class will be Hosted on Yoshi's Minecraft Realm (you do not need a realms account), invites are sent out 5 minutes before class starts. Below are the topics and dates of each topic: 2/4/24 Bed Wars 2/11/24 Sky Blocks 2/18/24 Egg Wars 2/25/24 Cake Wars Join together in playing on Multi-Player Servers. The Server and friend invite are provided on Zoom. We will work together, develop communication strategies and have fun! Each student will join a team and work together to progress through different team games!* *Breakout rooms may be used for Teams

Gamer tags will be required for the class. These are acquired through a Microsoft account from the website listed under Materials>External Resources. Please follow the supply list steps to manage your learners account.
*Please note Servers are Public and I am not able to moderate the chat, please adjust your settings accordingly. Servers are a series of mini-games designed around PVP (Player vs Player) Combat.

We will work together, develop communication strategies and have fun! You'll need to go to the link below, click 'PRIVACY AND ONLINE SAFETY' and check the following settings: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/help/family-online-safety/online-safety/manage-app-privacy-settings-xbox-one 1. Go to Xbox.com and sign in to your account (PARENT ACCOUNT) 2. Select your gamertag. 3. Select Xbox settings. If you don't see this option, select More links and then select Xbox settings. 4. Select Privacy & online safety. 5. Select either the Xbox One/Windows 10 Online Safety tab or the Privacy tab. Review the current settings and update any that you want to change: PRIVACY TAB: A. See other people's Xbox Live profiles: FRIENDS B. Others can see your Xbox profile details: FRIENDS C. Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites: FRIENDS D. I've been teaching children for almost 20 years now and have a BA from CSU and teaching children was a part of the curriculum.
I have been teaching my children how to play Minecraft and other games on several different devices for years and have been an active gamer for my entire life.
I have knowledge from the wiki and the ability to help children understand the basics of crafting, resource gathering and base building.
