🚀 Class Description: 
It's the worst when you spend your Minecoins on a map only to end up not enjoying it! In this ongoing class we will check out a new map from the Marketplace every week! Students will have the chance to request maps to try out and see if they like them. The teacher will get the map and host the world for students to join and explore.

The Marketplace has many different options to fit all kinds of play styles. We will be playing minigames, solving puzzles in adventure maps, exploring custom worlds, finding our favorite characters in mash-ups and testing out add-ons! Students will get to play Minecraft how they enjoy playing, and maybe find their new favorite map!

🎮 Play on any console you want! This game is cross-platform compatible, and learners can connect from their PC, Play Station, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch. Regardless of the device your learner or their friends own, they’ll be able to play the game together.

- A playable console (Xbox, Switch, Playstation, iPad) or PC. This class is for Bedrock edition for crossplay!

❔ Minecraft FAQ
What is Java edition and what is Bedrock edition?
- Java edition can only be played on a PC. Bedrock edition is cross-platform (can be played on PC, Switch, Xbox). If you aren't sure which edition your student is playing on, send us a message and we will help you out.

How does my student get a Minecraft account?
- Students just need to have a Microsoft account to login on Minecraft. It is a quick and free to setup. 

Are the servers private for these classes?
- Yes, all of our servers are private. That means that only students who are enrolled in the class will be able to access the world where we are playing. There will be no strangers or online chat in our Minecraft worlds.

What is a gamer tag and how do I know if my student has one?
- A gamer tag is the name students give themselves in Minecraft. If your student has a Microsoft account, they have a gamer tag. They must share this gamer tag to gain access to the private server. 

⌨️ Gamer Tags:
Gamer tags will be visible during gaming. Students can add each other as friends if they would like to, however it is not a requirement for the class. 

⚠️ Parental Guidance 
- Students need to share their friend codes with teacher or other students to participate in this class. Their in-game name (gamer tag) will be visible during play but will not be accessible after class is over. 
- Game is Rated E10+ for Fantasy Violence 
- Students will use their own copy of the game and their own online account.
