Welcome! I am so glad you are here! I have had a total of 8 years in the tutoring/teaching field and 5 years in the health and wellness field. I am currently working from home in Eastern Washington, where I met my husband. We have two beautiful daughters, ages 8 months and 7 years old. While they were infants, I enjoyed encouraging learning through play, fun, dress up, exploration, and art activities. I am a fluent Spanish speaker and so my household practices Spanish everyday! 

In Outschool, I will be teaching classes like mindfulness and relaxation, learning about feelings, social-emotional skills, and prek-3rd grade level Spanish! 

While working in the health field, I have learned that playing and laughter is so important to reach developmental milestones. Through play, children can build positive self-esteem, confidence, and learn social skills to foster positive relationships and learning. So I hope to encourage learning through play in my classes with Outschool. 

In my spare time, I enjoy learning about healthy nutrition as I like to run 5ks, 10ks, and half marathons for fun! By fueling my body with healthy foods, I am better able to focus daily, feel better physically and mentally, and I think it makes me run faster! I also enjoy journaling, painting with water colors, baking, budgeting, and expanding my learning by trying new things! I can't wait to meet you in class!
