In these 4 weeks Mindfulness Flex course, I use mindful tools, mindful game cards, & different breathing exercises to help kids to focus and learn better, to understand their feelings and emotions, and make better choices.

Students learn different types of Mindfulness techniques, a variety of different breathing exercises, and Mindful Games. I use Mindful Games Activity Cards and Guided Mindfulness lessons to help them understand the concept of mindfulness better, being mindful of their emotions, and respond vs react. They learn to calm themselves when they encounter any strong emotions. They will learn how to be kind and caring for themselves and each other. I believe that Mindfulness is not just sitting...
Students will learn to increase their focus and concentration. They will learn to be kinder to themselves and to each other. They will learn to take a pause and calm themselves down when they are sad, angry, frustrated, or encountering any strong emotions. They will learn the techniques to manage their emotions better and build up the space to respond wisely instead of reacting blindly.
Students will be instructed to practice the Mindfulness tools they have learned in each class during the week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
No live meetings, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.
