Class Experience

Kids who practice meditation can strengthen their immune system, lower stress, and even improve sleeping.
It's not just about kids learning to be calm and relaxed; it's about learning the qualities of compassion, creativity, and kindness.
Class will be broken up:
5 min - What is breath work, meditation, & visualization
8 min- Practice breath work (pyramid 3 part breath)
8 min - Breath work with guided meditation and focus on muscles in body (with body scan)
8 min - Guided relaxation meditation & self love (affirmations/mantra)
5 min - Sharing
This mindful meditation will help your learner be more self aware, focus on what the body is communicating, develop coping strategies and learn strategies to regulate, relax generate self-love.
Need: quiet comfortable, soft area, pillow and stuffie or pillow.

We will spend time on a comfortable pillow or area, close our eyes, and be guided with our imagination to a relaxing place in our brains. We will go through our bodies and do some relaxation exercises, learn a new 1-2-3 method for reducing anxiety or anger and end with a gratitude practice.
Breath work is a relaxing, forgiving, and quiet time. We will use our pillows, and stuffies to help us get control of our bodies and our minds.

The human spirit is so strong and resilient and doing breathwork allows us to take a moment to feel that strength, letting ourselves feel whatever it is that comes to us and supporting that while encouraging positive intentions. Children need to start with small practices and develop this habit to help them not only now but later in life.
