Mindful Eating for Kids

Do you ever want your child to slow down while eating, show appreciation for food and be more grateful, digest their meal properly, etc? In this course, we will use many of our senses to eat mindfully. This one on one is short and sweet!

Class Experience

  • By the end of the class, students will walk away with a greater appreciation for food and learn how to apply mindfulness to their food consumption.
I have been a teacher for the last decade, specializing primarily in early literacy and writing, mathematics, and social emotional wellness. I love history and anthropology, psychology, creating art and music, baking, hiking, and more!  My general approach to teaching is slow paced, warm, and encouraging. I meet the learner where they are, while giving them space to blossom at their own pace. I pride myself in using positive language and responsive classroom techniques to run my lessons.

Although parents are not required to supervise our lessons, they are encouraged to be near by in the event that the student needs technical or material support.
