In this one time class, students will learn about fighter jets! We will read a book about the vehicle, discuss it, and color pictures of each vehicle. We will label the parts of each vehicle using a nonfiction resource. We will watch a short video about the vehicle as well. Students will be prompted to ask questions and form a discussion around the topic. Learners will be taught the different features of a nonfiction text through read aloud. This class is a part of a series of classes on military vehicles, such as: fighter jets, tanks, armored vehicles, battleships, and helicopters.
