In this class, we will make observations about sets of pictures, numbers, shapes, and more to determine which one doesn't belong. There will be more than one correct answer! Learners will practice critical and creative thinking skills while applying reasoning and communication skills. We will discuss and review developmentally appropriate language and math concepts throughout the activity. Students will be given the opportunity to share their thinking and explore other possibilities. Weekly Schedule: As an ongoing class, students may jump in at any time. Each week we will discuss different a different set of pictures using the same format. I would love to see returning learners who are eager to stretch their mighty minds with me! Content Example: Pictures shown of a dog, cat, elephant, and fish. Which one doesn't belong? These are possible answers: Dog: lives in a dog house Cat: can climb trees Elephant: bigger than the others Fish: lives in water ** No class September 4th or 5th **
