Homework Offered
An optional printout will be included to help your little learner continue to practice outside of class!
Assessments Offered
The teacher will check for understanding in a variety of different ways throughout the lesson. This will include thumbs-up, hand raise, and a vocal response from the student.
Grades Offered
-A printable handout(s) for students will be provided 24 hours prior to class.
-Students will need something to write with (pencil, marker, or crayon).
-Small container of Playdoh will sometimes be needed and will always be asked to bring in advance
-Occasionally students will need a glue stick and scissors (OR pieces cut out before class) Parent supervision is advised when using scissors.
-Ruler
-OPTIONAL: whiteboard with dry erase marker and eraser to practice numbers, shapes etc... This is a way students can show the teacher and make small corrections quickly if needed. Also, they are fun to use!
Parents can assist with cutting before class if needed. Also, since this class is intended for young learners, it is recommended that the parent sits nearby and/or teach your child to push the UNMUTE/MUTE button. This will cut down on any unwanted background noise and allow the class to run as smooth as possible!
