Class Experience

In this class students will learn manners and friendship skills with the help of super heroes!  By the end of the class students will have designed their own Mighty Manners super hero complete with tools and costume.  We'll practice each skill together to make sure that we all understand the importance of being polite.
This class includes:
Saying please and thank you
Being a helper
Peacemaking
Apologizing 
Thinking before speaking
A template will be provided for students to use to create their superhero.  This is a lighthearted class designed to make practicing manners fun!

Hello, 
I'm Ms. Kailyn and I am excited to be offering unique learning opportunities for your children. I have a wide variety of teaching experience from preschool through High School Special Education.   My classes focus on making  learning fun and discovering nature through observation, and exploration.  As a former Montessori toddler teacher, with a degree in Environmental Education, I am uniquely qualified to offer classes that both encourage children to be engaged, life-long learners as well as, patient and respectful stewards of the Earth.  
When I'm not teaching, I'm often found hiking and playing with my two children and our dog.  They are a big help when it comes to trying out new activities and experiments with me!
