This course will meet twice a week and covers 6th-8th grade Middle School Science Standards through presentations, videos, simulations, interactives, hands-on activities and best of all experiments! We will explore real-world problems through inquiry, analyzing data/observations and drawing conclusions. I am a certified teacher and I've been teaching middle school comprehensive science since 2014 and I taught 5th-grade science prior to moving to middle school and in 2023 I became a Math & Science Instructional Coach. I currently help design activities that support K-8th-grade curriculum for math and science teachers. I will be incorporating reading and writing in this science course as well. I have a master's degree in reading and writing, and I am a firm believer in reading and writing in the content area.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:
Google Drive is used for sharing handouts. Nearpod, Canva & Youtube videos are used for some presenting of lessons. Blooket and Gimkit will be used to play review games in class.
