In this 12-week flex pre-algebra class, students will be exposed to and gain confidence in algebraic concepts like the order of operations, exponents, inequalities, and much more that will prepare them for success in algebra 1.

US Grade 7 - 8
At the end of this class, students will feel confident in pre-algebra and will be ready to begin algebra 1. I will use a combination of games, quizzes, activities, and videos each week. This class is asynchronous and will not have any live meetings. Each lesson will have a recorded video where I will present the topic, a practice worksheet, and a collaborative game. Students will have assigned homework to work on independently. They will also be assigned practice problems on one of the following learning games: Blooket, Quizlet, or Kahoot!. The games will be played with other learners.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class
