All About Me - Beginners Italian

World Languages

Middle School Italian With Native Speaker

I am offering this class to help build conversational fluency among young Italian learners. It is my belief that being able to communicate in a language that is not our mother tongue deeply connects us to the rest of the world.

Class Experience

Students will improve their fluency and familiarity with the Italian language.
I am an educator that has worked with learners of all capabilities for over a decade. I have worked with students of all ages, needs, and backgrounds. I have raised my children to be bilingual, and I am currently doing the same with my grandchildren. I learned English as a second language as a child, and through my experience, I have learned that anyone who speaks one language can learn another with the right approach and tools. I believe a language is learned most easily when it is understandable and interesting to students. I am innovative and flexible in the classroom, as well as patient, enthusiastic, positive, challenging, and motivating.
I can’t wait to meet you!
I will send worksheets to reinforce what we did in class and encourage my students to complete them.
Students will need pencils, colored pencils, and paper (preferably a notebook).
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
