Microsoft Word: An Introduction
In this power-hour class, students will learn the basics of Microsoft Word. This overview class is a great introduction to Word and a wonderful preview for my more in-depth course!

Beginner Level
In this one-hour introductory course, we will take a look at Microsoft Word and all that it has to offer. A beginning tutorial of the basic functions of Word (creating a document, changing the font, adjusting margins, inserting a picture, etc.) will be covered. The instructor will share her screen so that students can see the various tools and functions in action. There will be time for questions at the end if students have a question about how to complete a specific task in Word that may not have been covered or if they desire clarification on a tool.
Learning Goals
Students will gain a basic understanding of Microsoft Word and how they can use it to complete assignments and tasks.

Pre-Requisites
Students should have Microsoft Word installed on their computer if they desire to follow along.
Supply List
Because this is an overview course, access to Microsoft Word is not required, however it is encouraged if students desire to follow along.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
