During this class, students will learn the advance functions of Microsoft Excel and get hands-on practice. This is a on going class and each class will have some unique features of Excel taught and will provide good practice in using the program.
Parental guidance needed to set up Microsoft Excel on their Computers before they join this course.
I will share my screen so students can watch me using the Microsoft Excel as I describe its functions. Students should have Microsoft Excel on their computer prior to starting class, so they can use the program and follow along as I teach the class. As time allows, the students will have the ability to share their screen in order to ask questions and share their work.
I will be demonstrating with an installed version of Excel. However, there is a free online version available at Microsoft.com, which can also work well for learners during class. In order to maximize class time for all students, please ensure your learner is signed into Excel before class begins.

I have over 15 years of experience teaching computer science and technology subjects to studentsof different age groups both online and in-person. I currently teach Python programming on Outschool and have successfully guided many students through beginner to intermediate levels using fun, hands-on projects.
In addition to Python, I am well-versed in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, SQL, and Excel, and have used these tools in real-world settings to automate tasks, build websites, and analyze data. I’ve worked as a technical trainer in data analytics for adult learners and professionals, and I now enjoy bringing the same structured, project-based learning style to younger learners.
I’ve taught coding bootcamps, weekend tech clubs, and summer camps, focusing on making coding creative, visual, and engaging—especially for kids who enjoy storytelling, design, or gaming. My classes emphasize logic, creativity, and confidence, all while ensuring that every student feels supported and encouraged.
With a friendly, patient approach, I create a safe and motivating learning environment where young coders can thrive. Whether your child is new to coding or ready to build their own interactive projects, I’ll meet them where they are and help them build something they’re proud of!
