Merida's Storytime

This is a HIGHLY interactive sing-a-long and storytime with Princess Merida. Your child will sing, dance, act, and shoot bow and arrows with Scotland's bravest princess in this fast-paced adventure!! There is no required experience but rewatching the film beforehand will enhance the magic. Each child will be given multiple opportunities to interact and socialize, so knowing how to use the mute button would be very helpful.  Upon entering the classroom you will receive a printable pdf coloring page to bring with you to the party!! Don't forget to bring something for show & tell as well as some water. Please prepare a small space for dancing and moving. 
This storytime with Merida will consist of an individual greeting from the princess to your child followed by an enchanted storybook shared via screen share of a slide show with storybook pages, following the storytime we will take turns sharing our favorite part of the story. If time allows we will play a princess game and share a brief show & tell where each learner has a moment to showcase their favorite toy or book. 
Outschool encourages parents to try to remain off-camera as much as possible and contact teachers with questions through email.
