Personalized feedback will include strengths, areas for improvement, and suggestions for further practice. In twice-weekly, 35-minute sessions packed with interactive games, songs, and hands-on activities, math becomes fun and meaningful! With over 30 years of teaching experience, I guide each child through engaging visuals, virtual manipulatives, and proven strategies to build a strong math foundation. Monthly Focus with Real-Life Mental Math Strategies: Month 1: Addition—Nov.19,21,26,28,Dec. 3,5(2024)-strengthening understanding through Number Talks, visuals, number lines, tips, and real-life examples like shopping or budgeting. Month 2: Subtraction—Dec.10,12,17,19(2024)Jan.2,7(2025)-reinforcing skills with Number Talks, visuals, number lines, strategic tips, and practical scenarios like measuring or comparing distances. Month 3: Multiplication—Jan.,9,14,16,21,23,28, (2025)-building mastery using Number Talks, visuals, number lines, helpful tips, and real-world applications like calculating quantities or prices. Pre-Requisites
Previous enrolment in Basic Facts Bootcamp may be beneficial since the skills are foundational and building blocks for this class. Must know numbers up to 1000. Must have knowledge of addition, subtraction, multiplication & division.
