Teacher expertise and credentials
Hi!

I'm a theatre producer, director, and teaching artist. I teach various topics in theatre including performance, directing, design, and theatre history. During the academic year, I perform in, direct, and design productions at my university. I also work part-time as the Assistant Director of Recruitment for the College of Visual and Performing Arts at James Madison University. During the summer, I teach theatre to kids ages 8-18. Now more than ever, kids need arts education and creative opportunities that teach both stage skills and life skills while growing their confidence, critical thinking, and ethical thinking skills. Growing up, I had great teachers who shared their passion and love of theatre with me. Because of them, I discovered my life’s passion, learned new skills, and grew as a person. I'm excited to share my love of theatre with kids and inspire them. Additionally, I have experience teaching and directing kids on the autism spectrum and kids with disabilities. I look forward to seeing you in class!
