MathMester 102: Moving from Addition to Multiplication
This 12-week course will help 3rd grade students transition into multiplication from addition.

1 hour per week. There will be simple homework assignments in the form of worksheets that need to be completed before each class. We will go over these at the beginning of each class.Assessment
Each student will be given an end of the session, personalized assessment, stating their strengths, area of growth and areas that still need improvement. I will also provide a recommendation of whether they should move on to the next recommended session, should repeat the current course, to really grasp the material, or if they would benefit from one-on-one instruction on topics taught this session.Class Experience
This class will be a mixture of instruction, interactive class time ( games & group work) and individual class work to help bridge the gap from simple addition to multiplication. Students should come out of this session with a firm grasp of their multiplication facts.
