Are you looking to help your child build a solid foundation in math and boost their confidence in the classroom? My personalized math tutoring for grades K-6 is designed to make learning fun, engaging, and effective! I offer one-on-one sessions tailored to each student's needs, whether they are mastering basic concepts or tackling more advanced topics. We will work on a variety of skills, tailored to meet your scholar where they are. Skills will depend on grade level and a student's current math ability. Skills may include Number Sense & Counting, Place Value, Fractions & Decimals, Geometry & Measurement, Word Problems & Critical Thinking, and/or Math Fluency. We will begin with a warm-up and math fluency. We will then focus on a specific skill for the remainder of the session. I will give direct instruction and then allow the student time to practice the skill and receive feedback. I will also incorporate online math platforms and games when necessary.
Learning Goals
Number Sense & Counting: Developing a strong understanding of numbers, addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.Place Value: Understanding the value of digits in larger numbers.
