Tutoring sessions are tailored to your student's needs and abilities. Preferred topics can be selected by the parent or student in advance of the tutoring session, with assignments given in advance and reviewed during the session. Alternatively, the student can bring their own material and receive tutoring help as needed. You will quickly discover that my teaching style is friendly and easygoing. Please read the reviews for my Birth of Rock and Roll (Ages 8-12) classes to see how much the students have enjoyed them.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Greetings! I'm glad to have you consider joining one of my classes. I like teaching Math, Science and Music and other subjects from 4th grade through high school.
After graduating from UC Berkeley, I worked for high tech companies in Silicon Valley (Northern California) on several major computer system projects. After retiring, I became a substitute teacher in 2016 working for local public schools in Orange County (Southern California). In my spare time, my wife and I sing, play and teach several instruments including guitar, bass, ukulele and Celtic harp. I am also a webmaster!
I believe any child can learn any subject from a teacher who is prepared, knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and as interested in a student's growth and success as I am. I look forward to seeing you in one of my classes!
