This 3-day camp will help students hone their skills in pattern recognition and understanding of linear relationships to help get ready for high school. Perfect for grades 7 and 8! We will go through many examples and gain a deeper understanding of graphing, data tables, and discover 'why' all this is important! After lots of graphing, we will then use algebra to find different points on a straight line. Familiarity with the y-intercept and slope will not be essential but may be covered if...

We will use bitpaper.com to collaborate together. This site does not require any account and students can simple click the link provided. It is an online whiteboard where students can collaborate together and complete work as a class. We will also use Desmos.com which does not require an account. This online app will help us graph lines.
