Beginner Level
Students will be taught the place value of numerals. When students look at a number of each digit the students learn the different values of the numeral and place it where it is suppose to be occupied. Students learn how to place the numerals of its value on diagrams. Students learn using the comma between the hundreds and thousands place which makes the number easier to read. Students will learn how to regroup the same four digits or more in a different ways. Students will learn the place value in a diagram that names the numeral places for a number shown. The class will be taught using slides, discussion, some exercises to help the the student understand the concept of how we use numerals in values. No previous knowledge or experience needed.

Students learn how some numerals take the place value either using commas or the place where they are.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance in case of technical difficulty is helpful and also for logging into the zoom classroom. Do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. Students do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects with a comfortable place to do their work. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
