What will be taught:
How fractions are added
Terms to remember : add, sum, like fractions, numerator, denominator, unlike fractions and mixed numbers.
Add fractions and write each sum into its simplest form
Finding the sum of two fractions to determine the number who sum is one
Fractions whose sum is greater than one and find the sum in its simplest form
How to add mixed numbers 
How mixed number whose sum maybe simplified
Mixed numbers whose fractional parts add up to one
Mixed numbers with fractional parts whose sum is greater than one
Word problems
How to add two fractions which have unlike denominators
The class will be taught through discussion, white board, slides, games, students will also practice fraction problems.
There will be a quiz and work sheet provided for practice.
Learning Goals
Students will understand how to add like numbers, mixed numbers, how to simplify fractions. Students will know how to do word problems, learn the terms of the fractions.

Parental Guidance
Parental guidance is helpful in case of technical difficulty or help for logging on to the zoom. Students do not need any expensive toys, furnishings or other items. They do need well designed space that is safe for the student to do activities/projects. Parental guidance is necessary incase student needs help with an activity with guidance. Such as gluing, cutting with scissors etc. There are no third party websites that will be used for each week for the lessons or signing in for accounts.
