Hello! My name is Miss Stephanie. I am a fun and animated teacher that likes to use pretend scenarios in my lessons. In this lesson, your student will be a math detective and solve a math mystery using his/her math skills. Students will get some information of the math problem before expanding their minds to solve this mystery. The students will also be sharing their notes on how they solved the problem. This class will require students to have some basic knowledge of counting, addition within 10, and subtraction within 10.
Learning Goals
Students will be encouraged to apply one or multiple math strategies to a video lesson. The goal of this class is to encourage students to use what they know about solving math problems to a video and image. Each student will leave the class understanding that math can be represented in many ways.

Please bring to class a piece of paper or whiteboard and something to write with.
