In this course students will learn how to multiply by creating visuals to represent their problem.
Class Experience
Beginner - Intermediate Level
The students will be taught how to multiply using visual models. Students will be encouraged to participate in class discussions and will also be encouraged to explain their answers as we walk through the problems. I will teach students by making the learning fun and creating visuals for the students as well as relating each of the problems to the real world. - Students will improve their multiplication skills. In addition, they will learn how to describe a multiplication problems by using a visual model.
I have been teaching middle school math for the last six years.
Learners should be familiar with addition.
The following items will be needed: paper and pencil. We will be using an outside source called Peardeck, which requires a gmail account. Optional items: whiteboard and whiteboard marker.
