Word problems are a kids worst enemy! I am here to change that! This will be on ongoing class that will meet once a week and it will be discussion based. This class will be ran using the Cognitively-Guided Instruction Process. I will share a math story (word problem) and the students and I will pick this story apart so we fully understand the story. Students will have an understanding of how to tackle word problems with gain a multitude of strategies they can use to find the answre to a word problem.
I have my bachelors in Elementary Education and have been a 3rd grade teacher for the last three years.
