In this course, students will use the IXL platform to guide their learning weekly. There will be teacher feedback for student to break down skills identified to be challenging, curated directly for your student.

Week 1Lesson 1Introduction to IXL, Self-Paced Learning, & Assessment #1Your student's IXL login will be sent within 24 hours of sign up. An IXL tour will be posted in the classroom. Real time diagnostic assessment will be completed by students throughout week #1 of class to help the teacher identify skill deficits and mastered skills. Written feedback will be provided to the parent at the end of the week as well as results to your child's diagnostic assessment.Week 2Lesson 2Assignment #1Students will practice one area that they are struggling with. Individualized google slide will be shared with examples, resources, and direct instruction for your student's reference. Assignment #1 on IXL will be available to your child to complete. Students will maintain learned skills learned throughout their academic year. Students will grow their skill deficits, and learn new math skills.
