Math Help | Any K-12 Math Subject, Test, SSAT, SAT, ACT, AP Calc

In this one-to-one session, I will help students with any K-12 math topic, standardized test, enrichment, math project, or competition math questions. Depending on your topic or project, you may get help in the form of explanations, solutions, tips, strategies, numerical calculations, conceptual understanding, and more.

For example, a student is preparing for the chapter test on quadratic functions and need to review additional examples of how to graph a quadratic function using transformations, complete the square and write it in the vertex form. We will cover the related concepts and do additional examples. I’ll administer a mini-quiz to make sure the student has fully mastered the topic under consideration.

Here is another example - the student has taken the SAT practice test and needs to understand how to solve those problems on which he or she made mistakes or doesn’t know how to solve. I’ll explain the mistakes and solutions, provide additional examples, and talk about some strategies to help when the exact path to a solution isn't clear.

Or suppose a student entered a math competition and got seven out of ten problems right, but really wants to learn how to solve the remaining three problems, which were more difficult. The student sends me the problems in advance so that I can prepare the solutions, and then we will review them during the lesson. Given time availability, we can also go through the entire set and talk about more effective ways of solving other problems.

You can submit questions in any electronic format (image, document, scan or pdf) in advance or present in class. Please note that the topic cannot be an assignment, take-home quiz or online test that has not been graded yet.
