Do you love pizza? Are you wanting to learn about fractions? Well, this class is for you. In this one-time class, we will learn all about fractions, and how to create them. Learners will explore basic concepts of fractions. We will discuss the foundational understanding of equal parts, review fraction related vocabulary, and then make our own paper plate fraction pizza. Finally, we will answer questions based on the paper plate pizza we created. This is a beginner level class for understanding fractions are part of a whole. I create a positive classroom where students are engaged, comfortable, and eager to learn.

Students will learn about the components of fractions.

One file available upon enrollment supplies needed: glue pencil paper plate scissors crayons one piece of construction paper (any color)
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
