Lesson 1: 💰Pennies & Nickels💰

Students will identify pennies and count by 1's to count penny totals.

Students will identify nickels and count by 5's to count nickel totals.

Students will transition from counting by 5's to 1's to count combinations of nickels and pennies.



Lesson 2: 💰Dimes & Quarters💰

Students will identify dimes and count by 10's to count dime totals.

Students will identify quarters and count by 25's to count quarter totals.

Students will transition from counting by 25's to 10's to count combinations of quarters and dimes.



Lesson 3: 💰Pennies, Nickels, Dimes, & Quarters💰

Students will identify pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters.

Students will transition from counting by 25's to 10's to 5's to 1's to count different combinations of coins.



Lesson 4: 💰$1.00, $5.00, $10.00, & $20.00💰

Students will...
-Identify the $1.00 bill and count by 1's to find totals
-Identify the $5.00 bill and count by 5's to find totals
-Identify the $10.00 bill and count by 10's to find totals
-Identify the $20.00 bill and count by 20's to find totals

Students will transition from counting by 20's to 10's to 5's to 1's to count different combinations of bills.

Students will count by...
- 1's to count pennies and $1.00 bills
- 5's to count nickels and $5.00 bills
- 10's to count dimes and $10.00 bills
- 20's to count $20.00 bills
- 25's to count quarters

Kahoot! is utilized in this class. Students will be given a link via the Outschool classroom as to access these activities. Kahoot! is free and you do not need to have an account to complete the activities.
