Guten Tag!

This class will teach you the numbers 1-100 in German or help you to review them so that they become natural and automatic.

This class will also give you practice on basic math facts using those numbers: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Putting together your math knowledge and your German knowledge can help super-charge your brain!

You’ll get…
+ a 20-minute video on the numbers 1-100 and how to read a math problem: plus, minus, times, divided by, equals
+ a worksheet for practicing your math facts in German
+ a bonus video
+ a handy reference sheet
+ the opportunity to ask me any questions that come up as you do the work

I’d love for you to take the class!

--Dr. Jennifer

Note: This class is offered in Outschool’s self-paced format. There are no live class meetings on Zoom. Instead, you’ll download 2 videos, a worksheet, and a reference sheet that you can work on at your own pace.

The class will probably take you around 60 minutes to complete.

I have been teaching German, composition, and arts & humanities for more than 25 years, and I speak German with near-native fluency. I have a PhD in German Literature and was the 2014 Indiana German Collegiate Teacher of the Year. I was a professor of German for 16 years and have homeschooled my own son. I bring first-rate content knowledge and pedagogical expertise to the online classroom, plus a genuine love of working with young learners.

Because I have extensive experience at the college level, I know just where high school students are headed and can expertly guide them as they prepare themselves for the next step. My focus on learning strategies and study skills is an added benefit, useful for any learner.
