This ongoing course will be dedicated to addressing specific student needs within their chosen math topic. For one-time tutoring sessions, click here to view my other course: https://outschool.com/classes/math-chats-or-one-on-one-or-small-group-tutoring-ycZDvMlJ#us3Fj2Vp1r Prior to class, I ask that students and/or parents upload sample content or content that they are currently working on, so that I may prepare extension activities and questions ahead of time. Otherwise, providing a general summary of topics that need to be addressed will be sufficient. During class, I will answer questions and go over content with the student, helping to identify learning gaps along the way. After class, I will post practice problems based on our tutoring session in the Class Chat for further enrichment. Because this is an ongoing class, additional weekly sessions will be scheduled as best fits the schedule of the learner and Mrs. Roberts. While a standard tutoring session is ideal for one-on-one, I will also accommodate small groups of learners who are in the same class or follow the same curriculum.

Teacher expertise and credentials
Hey there!
Let's start with a high-five - to you! Yes, you!
Out of a desire to learn in an outside-the-box way, and to really understand what you're learning, you've found your way here, to my profile on Outschool. That, right there, shows that you value your education, and you're not taking "good enough" for an answer when it comes to how you understand the world around you. Good for you! *High-five*
As for me, I can bring my experience to the table. As a math major in college with a M.Ed. in Math Education, I've harnessed my skill and solidified my passion (and frankly, nerdiness) for all things math! After teaching math and engineering for five years, I also love helping students with projects and outlining problems in the context of real-world examples, which cannot be understated for today's 21st century learner. You can also bet that we're talking about some of our favorite books (Chronicles of Narnia), movies (the classic Star Wars trilogy), TV shows (The Office, Parks & Rec), and characters as we learn!
If you see a course that I offer, but there's no available section, please feel free to request additional times. Send me a message, and I'd be happy to open up a new session for you that can work for both of us! Thanks for your consideration, and I look forward to working with you!
