Average rating:5.0Number of reviews:(378)
A comprehensive unit on decimals for students in grades 4-6.

#### Class Experience

`After teaching middle and high school math for the past several years, I often see students struggling with decimal operations. My hope is through this class that students will fill confident with working with decimals not only during the class but in the future as well.`

```0All notes and homework will be provided.  Students should have access to a printer.
A basic calculator is optional to aid in computations if desired--in class the instructor will be showing students how to do decimal computations by hand.  However a calculator may be used on the homework assignments at parent/guardian discretion.
Optional--small white board and dry erase marker to use during class.  If not desired a paper/pencil will be fine.```
#### Meet the teacher
```I teach mathematics classes geared for students in grades 6-12 with a particular focus Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2.

After earning a B.A. in Mathematics and M.A.T. (Master's in the Art of Teaching) from James Madison University, I taught... .css-gw2jo8{position:relative;display:inline-block;font-family:'Ginto Normal',sans-serif;font-style:normal;font-weight:500;font-size:1.6rem;text-align:center;text-transform:none;height:auto;max-width:100%;white-space:nowrap;cursor:pointer;-webkit-user-select:none;-moz-user-select:none;-ms-user-select:none;user-select:none;outline:none;border:none;background:none;padding:0;-webkit-transition:all ease-in-out 0.05s,outline 0s,;transition:all ease-in-out 0.05s,outline 0s,;line-height:1;color:#380596;}.css-gw2jo8:hover:not(:disabled),.css-gw2jo8:focus:not(:disabled){color:#380596;-webkit-text-decoration:underline;text-decoration:underline;}.css-gw2jo8:active:not(:disabled){color:#380596;}.css-gw2jo8:disabled{color:#C2C2C2;cursor:default;}.css-gw2jo8:focus-visible{outline-width:2px;outline-style:solid;outline-color:#4B01D4;outline-offset:2px;}```
