Week 1Lesson 1Expressions and EquationsIntroduce students to algebraic expressions and equations, including translating verbal expressions into algebraic expressions and solving basic equations.Week 2Lesson 2Linear FunctionsExplore the concept of linear functions, including graphing lines, calculating slopes, and writing equations of lines in slope-intercept form (y = mx + b).Week 3Lesson 3Systems of EquationsIntroduce students to systems of linear equations and methods for solving them, such as graphing, substitution, and elimination.Week 4Lesson 4Exponents and PolynomialsTeach students about exponents, including properties of exponents and operations with monomials and polynomials.Week 5Lesson 5FactoringIntroduce basic factoring techniques for quadratic expressions, such as factoring out the greatest common factor and factoring trinomials.Week 6Lesson 6InequalitiesTeach students about solving and graphing linear inequalities on a number line and in the coordinate plane.

External resources will be used to enhance learning. These resources will be used during class time via screen share or during independent work time. Some external resources used will require student accounts which will be activated and assigned by the teacher at no additional cost to you. The teacher will assign generic (no personal identifiers) username/passwords for each student. The student will only have access to their generic accounts while enrolled in my course.
