Description

Class Experience

Math 1 is a course that is typically taught in 9th grade in states that follow the integrated model.  In this course we will study algebra, geometry, functions, number and operations, statistics and modeling.  

Each class we will meet and learn concepts together.   We will have a weekly quiz to help with understanding this will be turned in via a google form.  The quiz itself will be on paper.   Although assignments are provided, you will be expected to self-check your work and reach out to...

This class is taught in English.

Printer to print out notes.  Access to a graphing calculator.   I prefer either the Desmos calculator or the TI-84.

In addition to the Outschool classroom, this class uses:Desmos
Kahoot

We will have a weekly assessment that students will do on their own and turn in via a form.

1 hour 50 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 1 - 2 hours per week outside of class.
