What's included

Are you a Dungeon Master or Game Master? Do you have just about a million ideas bouncing around your brain about story arcs, mechanics, house rules, world building, monster making, and more, but not a great deal of places to actually talk about these things and bounce ideas off of other people? Then come hang out with other DMs and GMs in a space designed precisely for that! Each week, we'll get together and talk about Tabletop Role Playing Games (TTRPGs), especially ones we're currently running. Got an idea for a story arc, but you don't know how to tie it back to the current campaign? Let's talk about it and connect those dots! Working on a new mechanic for critical hits but you aren't sure it's balanced? Let's figure out the balancing! Looking for new ways to deal with character deaths to give more impact? We can talk about how each of us deals with these things and more! Looking for a new TTRPG because you want to try a new system? What better way to get info than to talk to people who have tried it? From new GMs to forever DMs, come hang out and discuss the craft weekly in Masters of the Game!

Parental Guidance
Dungeons and Dragons games vary widely on content, and can go from zero mature content to vastly mature depending on the game and group. While running or discussing any games on Outschool, I will be staying far from all mature stuff. It does involve violence, as D&D is known for combat as well as role-playing, but I won't be using any grotesque, visceral descriptions of things.
Supply List
Honestly, the more D&D (or other applicable TTRPG) sourcebooks you have, the more prepared you have the capacity to be. This being said, none are absolutely required for this class. If you're playing D&D and looking for a place to start, I would absolutely recommend the Player's Handbook and the Dungeon Master's Guide.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
