In this one-time session, students will be able to follow easy steps to expand a simple sentence into a stylistically creative and complex option suitable for the creative writer.

Students will be given an opportunity to share their sentences that they created.Class Experience
A creative writer varies his or her sentences: short, long, simple, complex. Students will be taught step by step how to transform a simple sentence into a complex sentence stylistically allowing the little creative writer options when writing. Students will add adjectives, adverbs and prepositions. Students will also switch the order of clauses. They will be amazed at what they can do as a creative writer. My teaching style is organized and fun giving students a chance for success and celebrate those successes.
Learning Goals
Students will learn how to create a simple sentence and then follow steps making the original sentence transform into something stylistically different.

Parental Guidance
Students will be encouraged to write appropriate content before writing; however, please note that what students write in a session is not overseen before being asked to sharez. Student can only be redirected. Thank you.
Supply List
Students will need to come prepared with paper and something to write with.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
